Amana Range Large Surface Element

Parts Number – WP660533

This large surface element part is used for many Amana electric range models, it is used on the range’s cooktop surface when cooking with large pans.  This element is 2600 watts, measures 8 inches in diameter and has a five-turn burner coil with rolled terminal ends.  If the surface element on your range is not heating, you can test the part for continuity with a digital or analog multi-meter.  If the element shows that it has continuity, you will need to test the surface element switch and the element terminal as well.  Note: Please be sure that your range has had plenty of time to cool down before testing or removing any internal or external parts.  Some range parts can hold residual heat for quite some time and will still burn you long after your range has been turned off.

Touch-up Paint – White

Part Number – 72017

This touch-up paint can be used on the exterior of your white range.  If the cabinet of your gas or electric range has unsightly chips or scratches, this touch-up paint will help fix the damaged areas.  The paint is white in color and comes in a 6 fluid ounce bottle with a brush for an easy touch-up application on most major house hold appliances.

Amana Range Thermal Fuse

Part Number – WP3196548

This thermal fuse is used as a safety device in case the oven should overheat. This fuse will shut the oven off to prevent a fire.  Please remember to unplug or disconnect the electricity to your range before making this repair.

Amana Gas Range Safety Valve

Part Number – WPW10293048

This gas valve is used on a gas range to sense a desired amount of heat.

Once it has sensed the desired amount of heat it will open the valve to

let the gas flow to the range burner where it will then be ignited into

flame and used to heat the oven.  Please remember to disconnect the

electrical power source to the appliance before attempting to repair it.

Amana Range Small Burner Element 6″

Part Number – WPW10345407

This small surface element is a genuine OEM part, it measures 6 inches in diameter and is used on the cooktop surface of some Amana electric range models for cooking with.  It is a three-turn coil element with rolled terminal ends to push in or pull out of the range receptacle for easy removal and replacement.  Please remember to always unplug or disconnect the electricity to your range before ever attempting to repair or replace any parts.  Note: Please keep in mind that a surface element can burn your hands, just because an element is not glowing red hot, does not mean that it is not hot and cannot still burn you.  We suggest that you wear safety gloves when removing or troubleshooting any heating elements on your range, stove or oven.

Amana Range Temperature Sensor

This oven sensor works in conjunction with the oven main control board to regulate and measure the temperature in the oven.  If you have noticed the oven temperature is inaccurate or fluctuates by 50 degrees or more, the sensor is more than likely defective and will need to be replaced with a new part.  Please be sure to use your model number when searching for parts, to be sure that it is the correct part for your particular range.

Amana Range Broil Element

Part Number – W10856603

This broil element is located on the top of the oven cavity and used for broiling.  The element is often used to help preheat an electric range faster for baking.  If this part is bad you should be able to see some visual damage, such as, blistering, bubbles, burned marks, burnt or melted terminal ends.  You can test the element for continuity with an OHM meter.  Always unplug or disconnect the electrical power source to your appliance before attempting the replacement of any parts.

Amana Range Bake Element

Part Number – WPW10308477

This bake element is located inside the bottom part of the electric oven.  The bake element has (2) flat push-on terminals.  Some common symptoms of a bad bake element are,  the element will not heat, trips the circuit breakers when turned on, blows a fuse.  Always disconnect the electrical power source to the oven before attempting to repair it.  Turn the breaker dedicated to the range off or pull the fuses.  Be safe!  Please be sure to enter your model number to ensure that this is the correct part for your appliance.

Amana Gas Range Bake / Broil Igniter

Part Number – WP8054129

This part is used to ignite the oven gas burner with its spark electrode.  It is the ignition device for the bake or broil setting on your gas range.  The common symptom of a bad igniter is, the range burner will not light.  Please remember to disconnect your appliance from its electrical power source and turn off the gas before attempting to repair it.

Amana Electric Range Surface Element 6″

This surface coil element is used for some electric model ranges, on the cooktop surface.  This surface element measures 6″ in diameter with rolled terminal ends.  If your element is not heating it can be tested for continuity using a multi-meter.  If the surface element shows that it has continuity the part is good and you will need to test the element terminal and the surface element switch.  Please disconnect the electrical power source to your range before attempting to remove or replace any parts.
