Crosley Temperature Control Thermostat

OEM Part Number – WP2198202

This cold control thermostat is used for the refrigerator and freezer compartments as a temperature sensor.  The most common symptoms of a failed temperature control thermostat are, the fridge won’t start, runs too long, is too cold or too warm.  Please remember to always unplug or disconnect the electrical power source to your appliance before attempting to repair it.

Crosley Heating Element

OEM Part Number – 279838

This dryer heating element 240 volts – 5400 watts, it is located inside the back of the clothes dryer attached to the heater housing.  If your electric dryer is not heating, you will need to test the thermal fuse first, it is located on the blower housing, if the thermal fuse is good you will need to check for burnt or loose wires or a break in the heating element coils.  If the coils have a break in them, your heating element will need to be replaced with a new one.  Always unplug or disconnect the electrical power source to the appliance before attempting to repair it.

Crosley Water Inlet Valve

OEM Part Number – 285805

This Water inlet valve comes with a metal support bracket, the water valve is located on the backside of your washing machine, it has two hoses connecting to it that lead to the water supply faucets mounted in the wall, one hot water line and one cold water line.  You will need to lift the lid of the washer to gain access to the inlet valve to replace it.  Make sure that you unplug the appliance and turn both hot and cold water supplies off before you begin this repair.  The most common signs of this part failure are, the tub won’t fill with water, no hot water, no cold water, water fills the tub even when the appliance is turned off.

Crosley Thermal Cut Off Fuse

OEM Parts Number – 279816

Thermal cut-off fuse. Used to prevent the dryer from overheating when the dryer high limit thermostat has failed.  This parts kit includes (1) thermal cut-off fuse (309 degrees) (1) high-limit thermostat of (250 degrees) Fahrenheit and the jumper wire.  The high limit thermostat and thermal cut-off fuse are both mounted on the clothes dryer heater housing.  Common symptoms that these parts have failed are, the dryer gets too hot, takes too long to dry the laundry, no heat, will not start.  always remember to unplug or disconnect the electrical power cord to the unit before attempting to replace these parts.  Please be sure to use the model number to ensure that these are the correct parts for your particular appliance model.

Crosley Gas Igniter Kit

OEM Part Number – 279311

This gas dryer igniter kit comes with a bracket, (2) wire nuts and the mounting screw.  The parts kit can replace both flat and round igniters. The igniter is located inside of the burner assembly.  Some common signs that the ignitor has failed are, the clothes dryer will not heat, takes to long to heat.  Note: you will need to take extra precautions while handling this igniter, it is a very fragile part.

Crosley Drum Roller Kit

OEM Part Number – 349241T

These dryer drum roller parts are used to help support the drum and allows the drum to turn smoothly inside of the dryer.  The most common symptoms that the drum rollers have failed are, the dryer is very noisy, the drum will not turn.  Be sure and use the model number from your appliance to ensure that these are the correct parts for your particular clothes dryer model.

Crosley Defrost Thermostat

OEM Part Number – WP4387490

This bimetal defrost thermostat is a clip-on thermostat and is located in the freezer section of the refrigerator.  The thermostat is used to control the temperature rise in the freezer during the defrost cycle.  The most common signs that the thermostat has failed are, the fridge temperature is warm, freezer is warm, icemaker not producing ice, freezer will not defrost.  Please be sure to use the model number on your appliance to be sure that this is the correct part for your specific model.

Crosley Blower Wheel

OEM Part Number – WP694089

This dryer blower wheel is connected to the motor shaft.  As the dryer motor spins the blower wheel spins with it and blows air into the clothes dryer drum and out through the exhaust vent.  Note: This blower wheel has reverse threads, you will need to rotate the blower wheel clockwise to remove it from the dryer’s motor shaft.  Some common symptoms that this part has failed are, the dryer is noisy, will not tumble, will not start.

Crosley Gas Flame Sensor

OEM Part Number – WP338906

The dryer flame sensor is used on a gas dryer as a safety device.  The sensor is used to prevent high levels of gas from building up.  The sensor senses heat that is emitted from the igniter and monitors if it is hot enough to ignite the gas and light the burner.  Some signs that the flame sensor has failed are, the clothes dryer takes too long to heat up, the dryer has no heat.  Please be sure to use the model number on your appliance when ordering this part, to ensure that this is the correct replacement part for your specific gas clothes dryer model.

Crosley Lid Switch

OEM Part Number – WP8318084

This washer lid switch is used for a top load model washer.  The switch is located under the control panel on the top of the clothes washer.  You will need to lift the control panel up and back away from the top of you appliance to replace the lid switch.  Some signs that this part has failed are, the washing machine won’t start, timer will not advance, tub basket will not spin.  Please remember to always unplug or disconnect the electrical power cord to your appliance before attempting to replace any parts.
