Frigidaire Refrigerator Condenser Fan Motor

This condenser fan motor part kit is used on many Frigidaire brand refrigerators.  The replacement kit comes with the following parts, the condenser fan motor, a new mounting bracket, fan blade, (2) screws and foam tape.  The condenser fan motor is located in the back of the refrigerator at the bottom of the unit.  It is used to move air across the condenser and the compressor to help them keep cool.  Some common symptoms of a bad condenser fan motor are, the compressor runs hot, condenser is hot or the refrigerator won’t get cold. Frigidaire Refrigerator Run Capacitor

This run capacitor is located on the side of the refrigerator compressor.  It is used to help the compressor kick on and off keeping the refrigerator and freezer compartments at a constant ideal temperature.  If the run capacitor is bad you might notice the fridge is warm, freezer is warm, fridge is noisy or the compressor won’t kick on.  Please remember to unplug your refrigerator before attempting to repair it.

Frigidaire Refrigerator Fan Motor

This evaporator fan motor is 115 volts and is located in the back of the freezer section of your refrigerator.  The evaporator motor does not come with a fan.  You will need to transfer the fan from your old evaporator motor shaft to the new motor shaft.  This part is used to circulate air over the freezer coils which converts the heat from the coils into cold air that is then circulated throughout the refrigerator by the spinning fan blade.  Common complaints of a bad evaporator fan motor are, noises from the freezer, fridge is warm, freezer is warm.  Please remember to unplug your appliance before making this repair.

Frigidaire Refrigerator Defrost Heater

The heater is used to heat the evaporator during the defrost cycle.  The heater is mounted at the bottom of the evaporator in the freezer compartment.  When replacing the defrost heater the thermostat should be replaced as well.  The most common symptoms of a heater that has failed are, the fridge is warm, the freezer is warm, the fridge/freezer does not defrost, no ice cubes are being produced.  Please remember to unplug the appliance before replacing any parts.
