GE Dishwasher Detergent And Rinse Aid Dispenser

Part Number – WD12X10163

Detergent and rinse aid dispenser. This part is located inside the dishwasher door. The dispenser is used to hold dishwasher detergent and rinse aid and dispense them both during the wash cycles.  Some common signs that the dispenser is not working are, dishwasher not cleaning dishes, won’t dispense detergent, lid won’t latch, lid won’t open.  Please be sure to use the model number to insure that this is the correct part for your appliance.  Always unplug or disconnect the electrical power source to the unit before attempting to replace this part.

General Electric Dishwasher Water Valve

Part Number – WD15X10003

This dishwasher water inlet valve assembly is located behind the kickplate on the lower left or right corner, depending on your model. The inlet valve is used to supply and fill the dishwasher with water. Symptoms of a failed water valve are, dishwasher will not fill with water, not cleaning dishes, leaking water or noisy.  Unplug or disconnect the electrical power source to the dishwasher before attempting to repair it.

GE Dishwasher Lower Wash Arm Assembly

Part Number – WD22X10047

This lower spray arm is located at the bottom of the dishwasher tub.  It is used to spray water upwards onto the dishes that are located in the lower dishrack.  The main symptom of a failed spray arm is, dishes are not getting cleaned.   Disconnect the electrical power to the unit before attempting to repair it.

GE Dishwasher Drain Solenoid Kit

The drain solenoid is used on the dishwasher to open the drain valve when the dishwasher is in the drain cycle.  The most common symptom of a bad drain solenoid is, the dishwasher will not drain.

GE Dishwasher Timer

Part Number – WD21X10474

The dishwasher timer is responsible for controlling most of the functions within the dishwasher during all of its cycles.  The timer controls when a function will begin, how long it will last and when the cycle will end.  Some common signs that the timer is bad are, a cycle will not advance, will not fill with water, will not pump the water out, will not shut off, will not run at all.  Please enter your model number to insure that this part will work on your particular dishwasher model.

GE Dishwasher Heating Element

This heating element is located inside the bottom part of the dishwasher.  It is used to increase the water temperature during the wash cycles and as heat for drying the dishes during the drying cycles.  The most common symptoms of a bad heating element are, dishes do not dry, dishes are not clean.  Remember to unplug or disconnect the electrical power to the dishwasher before attempting to repair it.

Drain pump assembly.  Is used to drain the water out of the dishwasher.  Always unplug or disconnect the electrical power source to the appliance before attempting to replace any parts.

GE Dishwasher Door Gasket

Part Number – WD8X229

This dishwasher door gasket is grey in color.  It is used on some dishwasher models that have a two ear housing with a square spacer.  Be sure to enter your model number when ordering this part to be certain that this gasket is compatible with your dishwasher model.  The most common symptom of a bad door gasket is, dishwasher leaking water around the door.

GE Dishwasher Top Dishrack With Wheels

Part Number – WD28X10399

This top dishrack comes with four wheels for the dishwasher slide rails, replaces these parts:  WD28X10164 – WD28X10167 – WD28X10214 – WD28X10287 – WD28X10336.  This part is used to replace an upper dishrack.

General Electric Dishwasher Dishrack Rollers

Part Number – WD35X20994

Upper rack rollers and axles.  This parts kit included (4) wheels and (4) axles that clip into the dishrack.  These parts are used to repair the top dishwasher rack that won’t roll properly.
