Hotpoint Heating Element
Part Number – WE11X20397
Heating element and housing assembly. Located inside the back of the dryer. If your electric dryer is not heating, you will need to test the thermal fuse first. If the thermal fuse is good you will need to check for loose or burnt wires or a break in the heating element coils. if the coils have a break in them, the heating element will need to be replaced with a new one. Remember to always disconnect the electrical power source to your appliance before attempting to repair it. The most common symptoms of a bad heating element are, the dryer will not heat, clothes are not drying.
Hotpoint Drain Pump And Motor
Part Number – WH23X10030
Washer drain pump and motor assembly. Located in the right front corner, at the base of the washer. The pump is used to help drain the water from the tub after each agitate cycle and during the spin cycle. A common symptom that the pump has failed is, the washer will not drain the water out of the tub. Helpful tip: Check the pump ports and impeller for clogs or blockage before replacing the drain pump with a new one.
Hotpoint Evaporator Fan Motor
Part Number – WR60X10307
This evaporator fan motor comes with the wire harness and thermistor. It is located in the back of the freezer compartment. This part is used to move air across the hot refrigerator coils, converting the heat into cold air, which is then circulated throughout the unit. Some common complaints associated with an evaporator fan motor that has failed are, freezer is warm, fridge is warm and noisy. Please unplug your unit before you repair it.
Hotpoint Lid Switch
Part Number – WH12X1043
This Lid switch assembly is located beneath the top part of a top load model washing machine, it is activated when the lid is opened or closed. The assembly is held into place with two screws and has a quick connect electrical wire harness. The most common signs that this switch has failed are, the tub will not spin, will not agitate. Please remember to unplug or disconnect the electrical power cord before you replace any parts on your appliance.
Hotpoint Timer
Part Number – WE4M527
This timer is located in the console panel on top of the dryer. The timer is used to control the various timed cycles within the clothes dryer. It uses sets of cam operated switches that direct electric current to the dryer motor and heating element at the appropriate times for the selected cycles. Some common symptoms that this part has failed are, dryer will not run, will not heat, will not stop at the end of a cycle, will not advance through the cycle. Please be sure and enter your model number to be certain that this is the correct part for your specific appliance.
Hotpoint Defrost Thermostat
Part Number – WR50X122
This defrost thermostat clips onto the evaporator and is located in the freezer section of the refrigerator. The thermostat is used to control the temperature rise of the freezer during the defrost cycle. The most common signs that the thermostat has failed are, the fridge temperature is warm, freezer is warm, icemaker not producing ice, freezer will not defrost. Don’t forget to unplug the power cord to your appliance before the removal or replacement of any parts.
Hotpoint Detergent And Rinse Aid Dispenser
Part Number – WD12X10163
Detergent and rinse aid dispenser. This part is located inside the dishwasher door, the dispenser is used to hold dishwasher detergent and rinse aid and dispense them both during the wash cycles. The most common signs that the dispenser is not working are, dishwasher not cleaning dishes, won’t dispense detergent, lid won’t latch, lid will not open. Please be sure to use the model number to insure that this is the correct part for your appliance.
Hotpoint Temperature Sensor
Part Number – WB21X5301
This temperature sensor is located on the top back wall of the oven. The sensor is used to regulate and measure the temperature in the oven. If you have noticed your oven temperature is inaccurate or fluctuates by 50 degrees or more, the sensor is more than likely defective and should be replaced. Please be sure to use your appliance model number to be certain that this is the correct part.
Hotpoint Broil Element
Part Number – WB44K10002
This broil element is located in top of the oven cavity and is used for broiling. Quite often the element is used to help preheat the oven faster. If your element has stopped heating you will need to check for visual damage such as, burn marks, bubbling or blistering, burnt or melted terminal ends. This element can be tested for continuity with a multi-meter. Please remember to disconnect the electricity to your appliance before attempting to repair it or replace any parts.
Hotpoint Water Valve
Part Number – WD15X10003
This dishwasher water inlet valve assembly is located behind the kick plate on the lower left or right corner, depending on your model. The inlet valve is used to supply and fill the dishwasher with water. Symptoms of a failed water valve are, dishwasher will not fill with water, not cleaning dishes, leaking water or noisy.
