Maytag Range Surface Element Kit

Parts Number – 4392061

This surface element kit is used on the cooktop surface part on some Maytag electric ranges.  The replacement kit includes (2) Large 8″ coil elements, (2) Small 6″ coil elements, (4) element receptacles, wires, wire nuts and installation instructions.  Always remember to unplug or disconnect the electrical power source to the electric range before attempting to repair it.  Please enter your model number to make sure this is the correct part for your specific appliance.

Maytag Range Thermal Fuse

Part Number – WP3196548

This thermal fuse is used as a safety device in the case of the range overheating.  This part will shut the range off to prevent a fire or further damage to the appliance.  Please remember to disconnect the electrical power source to your range before attempting to repair or replace any parts on it.

Maytag Range Surface Burner 8″

Part Number – WP660533

This large surface coil burner is used on the cooktop surface on an electric range.  The surface burner is 2600 watts and measures 8″ in diameter.  It has a (5) turn coil with rolled terminal ends.  If your range surface element is not heating you can test the part for continuity with a multi-meter.  If the element has continuity you will need to test the surface element switch and the element terminal.  Always unplug or disconnect the electrical power source to your appliance before attempting to repair it.

Maytag Range Surface Burner 6″

Part Number – WP660532

This small surface burner is used on the cooktop surface of some electric range models.  If your surface element is not heating the part can be tested for continuity using a multi-meter.  Please enter your model number to make sure this is the correct part for your specific model.  Always remember to unplug or disconnect the electrical power source to the unit before making any repairs to it.

Touch up Paint – White

Part Number – 72017

This touch up paint can be used on the exterior of your white range.  If your range has unsightly chips and scratches this touch up paint will fix the damaged areas.  The paint is white in color and comes in a (6) fluid ounce bottle with a brush for an easy touch up application.

Maytag Range Temperature Sensor

Part Number – 12001656

This temperature sensor is located inside the oven compartment on your range.  The temperature sensor is used to measure and regulate the internal temperature inside of the oven cavity.  The sensor is approximately 6″ long and comes with (2) wire harness adaptors and installation instructions.  Please remember to unplug or disconnect the electrical power source to the appliance before attempting to repair it.

Maytag Range Surface Burner Head – Black

Part Number – WP3412D024-09

This burner head is located on the surface of your gas range.  It is black in color and comes with a spark electrode.  You will need to rotate / turn the burner counter clock wise an eighth of a turn to remove the burner head unit from the cooktop surface.  The manufacturer has updated the burner head and it no longer requires a gasket / seal.  Reasons for replacing this part are: burner will not light or the enamel finish is cracked or worn off from use.  Please be sure and enter your model number to make sure that this is the correct part for your specific range model.

Maytag Range Surface Burner Head – Grey

Part Number – WP3412D024-26

This burner head is located on the cooking surface of your gas range.  It is grey in color and comes with a built in spark electrode.  You will need to rotate / turn the burner counter clock wise an eighth of a turn to remove the burner head unit from the range cooktop.  The manufacturer has updated this burner head so it no longer requires a gasket.  Reasons for replacing the burner head are, burner won’t light, enamel finish has cracked or worn off from use.  Be sure and enter the model number to be certain that this is the correct part for your particular appliance.

Maytag Range Radiant Surface Element 1200W

Part Number – WP8273994

This radiant surface element is used on some electric range models.  When ordering this part, please enter your model number to be certain this is the correct part for your specific model range.  Please remember to always unplug or disconnect the electrical power source to your appliance before attempting to repair it.  Safety note: Be mindful that some range parts can hold residual heat for quite a while after the unit has been turned off.

Maytag Range Igniter

Part Number – WP7432P143-60

This bake/broil igniter is used to ignite the gas to the oven burner.  If your gas oven will not turn on or has little to no heat this part will need to be visually inspected or tested and should be replaced, if needed.  Note: Please be sure to match the connector with the old part.  Please remember to unplug or disconnect the electrical power source and turn the gas off to the range before attempting to repair it.  It is recommended that you enter your model number to make sure this is the correct part for your specific appliance.
