Roper Gas Stove Bake / Broil Igniter

Part Number – WP8054129

This igniter is used to ignite the ovens gas burner with its spark electrode.  It is the ignition device for the bake or broil setting on your stove.  The common symptom of a bad ignitor is, the gas burner will not light.  Please remember to disconnect your appliance from its electrical power source and turn off the gas before attempting to repair it.

Roper Electric Stove Surface Element 8″

Part Number – WP660533

This surface coil element is used on the cooktop surface of some electric stove models.  The surface burner is 2600 watts and measures 8 inches in diameter.  It has a five turn heating coil with rolled terminal ends.  If your stove has a surface element that is not heating up, you can test the element for continuity using a multi-meter.  Please be aware: that a stoves surface element can hold it’s heat for quite a while after you have turned the appliance off.  It is suggest that you wear gloves while performing tests or inspecting any of your stoves heating elements, to protect your hands from hot surfaces.  If the element shows that it has continuity you will need to test the element switch also known and the infinite switch and check the terminal block for damage as well.  Please remember to disconnect the electricity to your appliance before you begin to servicing it.

Roper Stove Temperature Sensor

Part Number – WPW10181986

This sensor works in conjunction with the stoves main control board to regulate and measure the temperature inside of the oven compartment.  If you have noticed the oven temperature is inaccurate or fluctuates by 50 degrees or more, the sensor is more than likely defective and will need to be replaced with a new part.  Please be sure to use your model number when searching for parts, to be sure that it is the correct part for your specific stove model.

Roper Gas Stove Safety Valve

This gas valve is used on a gas stove to sense a desired amount of heat.
Once it has sensed the desired amount of heat it will open the valve to
let the gas flow to the oven burner where it will then be ignited into
flame and used to heat the oven.  Please remember to disconnect the
electricity to the unit before you begin to service it.

Roper Stove Bake Element

Part Number – WPW10308477

This bake element is located inside the bottom part of the oven cavity on some free standing electric stove models.  The bake element has (2) flat spade push-in terminal ends.  Some common symptoms of a bad baking element are,  the element will not heat up, trips the circuit breakers when turned on or burns the fuse out.  Don’t forget to disconnect the electricity, turn the breaker dedicated to the unit off or pull the fuses, before you begin to test or replace this part.  Please be sure and enter your stoves model number to ensure that this is the correct part for your specific appliance.

Roper Stove Thermal Fuse

Part Number – WP3196548

This thermal fuse is used as a safety device in case the stove should ever overheat.  This fuse will shut the stove off to prevent a fire.

Roper Electric Stove Surface Element 6″

This surface element is used for an electric range on the cooktop surface.  The surface element measures 6 inches in diameter, and has looped terminal ends.  If the element is not heating it can be tested for continuity using a multi-meter.  If the surface element has continuity the part is good and you will need to test the element terminal block and the infinite switch.  Please don’t forget to turn off the electricity to your appliance, before you begin the removal or replacement of any parts.

Roper Stove Broil Element

This broil element is located inside the top part of the oven cavity on some stove models, and is used for broiling with.  Sometimes the broiler element is used to help preheat an oven quicker.  If your stoves element is bad you should be able to visually see some kind of damage on it, such as, blistering, bubbles, burn marks, burnt or melted terminal ends.  If you do not see any of the mentioned damage, you can test the element for continuity with a multi-meter.  If your element shows that it has continuity, then the element is good and more troubleshooting will need to be performed to isolate the problem.

Touch-up Paint – White

This touch-up paint can be used on the metal console of a white gas or electric stove.  If your stove has unsightly chips or scratches, this touch-up paint will fix the damaged areas.  This paint is white in color and it comes in a 6 fluid ounce bottle with a brush for a smooth, easy touch-up application.

This heating element measures 6 inches in diameter and is located on the cooktop of some electric range models.  It is a three turn coil element with looped terminal ends that simply push into or pull out of the stoves element receptacle, for an easy replacement.  Remember to always disconnect the electricity to your stove before you begin servicing it.  Please be sure and use the model number to ensure that this is the correct part for your specific model.
