This broil element is located inside the top part of the oven cavity on some electric stove models, it is used for broiling with. The broil element is often used to help preheat the stove for a faster cooking time. If the element is bad you should be able to see some visual damage such as blistering, bubbles, burnt marks or melted terminal ends. The heating element can be tested for continuity by using an analog or digital multi-meter. Safety note: Please be mindful that some stove parts can retain their heat for quite a while after the unit has been turned off. Just because an element doesn’t look hot, does not mean that it isn’t hot, it can still burn you. It is suggest that you wear gloves while troubleshooting or testing a stoves heating elements. If your element does not show that it has continuity it is bad and it will need to be replaced. Sealed burner head with spark electrode used for the cook top surface on some gas stove models. This burner head is grey in color. If the burner head on your stove is no longer working properly it may need to be replaced. This bake element is located inside the electric stoves oven compartment, at the bottom of the oven. If your stove element is not heating you will need to check it for damage. Such as blistering, burnt marks, breaks in the element and check the terminal ends of the bake element for damage as well. If you do not see any visual damage you can test this part for continuity using a multi-meter. If the element does not show that it has continuity, it will need to be replaced. Please disconnect the electricity to your stove before you begin this repair.

This control board is located on the top face plate of the stove and is used to control most of the functions within the stove. It controls the timer, timed bake and broil. Please use your model number to insure this is the correct part for your appliance. Note: you will need to take extra precautions while handling the stoves control board, it is a very fragile part.

This bake element is used for a stove and is located inside the bottom part of the oven compartment. This element has two flat push on spade terminals. Some common symptoms of a bad bake element are, the element will not heat, trips the circuit breakers when turned on or blows a fuse.
