Dishrack Tine Tips
Parts Number – 675679
These dishrack tine tip parts are used for some Whirlpool dishwasher models to repair rusted dishwasher racks with. The dishrack tine tips, or caps are white in color, the package includes (125) tips, enough tips to repair both the upper and lower dishrack tines. The tips should be installed with an adhesive, which is sold separately. Note: Some preparation to the dishrack metal tines may be needed before installing these tips.
Water Inlet Valve
Part Number – WP8531669
This water inlet valve parts assembly is a genuine OEM dishwasher replacement part, that is located behind the kickplate on the lower left or right corner, depending on your dishwasher model. The inlet valve is used to supply and fill the dishwasher with water. Symptoms of a failed water valve are, dishwasher will not fill with water, is not cleaning dishes, leaking water and loud. Please be sure to use the model number on your appliance to ensure that this is the correct replacement part for your particular dishwasher. Please remember to unplug or disconnect the electrical power source to the dishwasher and turn off the water before you begin this repair.
Dishwasher Detergent Dispenser
Part Number – WPW10224428
Detergent and rinse aid dispenser. This part is located inside the dishwasher door. The dispenser is used to hold dishwasher detergent and rinse aid and dispense both during the wash cycles. Common signs the dispenser is not working, dishwasher not cleaning dishes, won’t dispense detergent, lid won’t latch, lid won’t open. Always unplug or disconnect the electrical power source to the dishwasher before replacing this part.
Dishrack Roller Assembly
Part Number – W10888592
Upper dishrack roller assembly. Located on the upper dishrack. The roller wheels are located inside the dishrack rails to help the dishrack roll in and out of the dishwasher smooth and easy. These parts fix these symptoms, dishrack won’t push in or pull out, hard to pull out, hard to push in.
Door Switch
Part Number – WP8269209
This door switch is used to detect when the dishwasher door is closed or open so the dishwasher can start or shut off. If the door switch is broken the dishwasher will not start.
Pump and Motor Assembly
Part Number – WPW10780877
Dishwasher sump pump and motor. This part is mounted in the bottom of the dishwasher and used to collect water and move the water up through the spray arms. Symptoms of a bad pump are, leaking water, not getting the dishes clean, noisy, will not start. Please be sure and use the model number on your dishwasher to ensure that this is the correct part for your particular appliance. Always unplug or disconnect the electrical power source to the appliance before attempting to replace any parts.
Dishwasher Heating Element
Part Number – W10518394
This heating element is located inside the bottom of the dishwasher. It is used to increase the water temperature during the wash cycles and as heat for drying the dishes during the drying cycles. The most common symptoms of a bad heating element are, dishes do not dry, dishes are not clean. You will need to unplug or disconnect the electrical power source to the unit before attempting to replace this part.
Lower Spray Arm
Part Number – WP8268874
Lower wash arm assembly. Located inside the bottom of the dishwasher. This part works when water is forced through the spray arm from the pump. The force of the water turns the spray arm in one direction spraying jets of water upwards to help wash and rinse the dishes during the wash cycle. The most common symptom of a faulty spray arm is the dishwasher will not get the dishes clean.
Spray Arm
Part Number – WP8535083
Middle spray arm. This part is grey in color. The spray arm is connected to the bottom side of the upper dishrack. The spray arm uses water pressure being forced through it to rotate and spray the dishes clean in the top dishrack. Symptom of a faulty spray arm is dishes are still dirty at the end of the cycle. Please use your model number to be sure that this is the correct part for your appliance.
Thermal Fuse
Part Number – WP3368928
This fuse is used as an overload safety device to help protect the
circuits in the dishwasher if the dishwasher gets too
hot. If your dishwasher will not start check this fuse for continuity.
